Step-by-step instructions

  1. Click continue;
  2. Click skip to bypass the tutorial;
  3. Select “Areas” on the left;
  4. Use the dropdown menu to select the type of area you wish to display;
    1. E.g., Federal Administrative area;
    2. If prompted, select the agency of interest
  5. On the upper right (map controls) Nationwide CL & EXC Map Layers, use the dropdown menu to select the ecosystem component of interest (Aquatic, Lichens, Trees);
  6. For lichens, for example,
    1. Select N or S deposition;
    2. Then select the combination of the lichen metric (e/g/. total species richess) and the level of resolution in the Exceedance map (Magnitude of EXC +/-) gives the highest resolution
  7. Zoom in (using + button in upper right) to view the area of interest;
  8. Click confidence rating button in lower right to view the level of certainty in the Exceedance.
